Information Overload - Part I Newspapers

Looking to reduce paper coming into the home, papers stacking up, doing your part in helping the planet? If so, consider the following information about your newspaper:

According to Judith Kolberg in Conquering Chronic Disorganization:

"Information in the newspaper is obsolete within 8 hours after it is
published. 70% of the paper is ads, and of the 30% of info remaining, 80% of it can be found through other media such as radio, tv, and 100% can be found
on the internet"

Consider discontinuing, or all days but Sunday, and then toss it as soon as you've read it. Get your daily dose of news from alternate sources such as TV, Internet, or Radio.
